Should I stay or should I go🤔
Come on, don't get upset from the beginning. 🤪
By writing this, I'm preeeeetttty sure I'm going to get more haters than fans.
Why? Because we love sweet lies over ugly truths.
But here it goes: When you're applying for a job, do you actually read the job description?
I know, I know—interviews are for showing off your awesome skills and charming personality. But have you ever thought that maybe, just maaaaaybe, no one's calling you back because your CV is way off from what the job ad is asking for?
I'm not polishing the people who write job ads, but come on, at least read the basic requirements and see if you fit.
If you don't, move on. If you do, but your CV doesn’t show it, update your resume to match the role. If you do, and your CV is spot-on, then go ahead and apply!
We need to stop whining about no feedback when we're applying for jobs that have nothing to do with our actual experience.
If you're a perfect fit and still get rejected, that's a whole other story for another time. 🧐
